Region Luneburg Heath

 

The Luneburg Heath includes the largest contiguous heath areas in central Europe, which are a favorite destination for our guests, especially in late summer, when the heath shines in its purple splendor. The quiet landscape is a paradise for rare animal species. The surrounding area is sparsely populated and with its moors, ancient forests, quiet heathlands and vital villages, the countryside offers plenty of space for relaxation to our holidaymakers. Our campsite is located in the southern part of the Luneburg Heath near the duke city of Celle and borders on the Suedheide natural reserve.

As a recreational area and a large protected area for animals and plants – the Suedheide natural reserve is always worth a trip – holidaymakers can relax here, but can also experience a lot of action.
